i forgot to talk about the hockey game i went to on saturday. i hadn't been to any hockey games in such a long time that i really wasn't too excited but figured that's the price i'd have to pay to hang out with my friends... that is, until we arrived. i walked into the main doors of the arena and was immediately assaulted by the mixed scent of cold air, hot chocolate and sweat... mmmm... it was at this moment that my indifference passed, and the years i've spent practically living at the ice rink (at least that's how it seemed sometimes) all came back to me. not exactly, BUT i did recall a few good memories and... anyways, the major plus that came from all of this is that i've been pushed further into my drive to go ice skating SO i'm in the process of checking rates, rentals, hours, etc. and am telling you all now that if you live in edmonton (or the edmonton area) you had darn well better be rounding up your skating mittens, toques, socks, etc. because you are ALL coming along for the fun times!!!!
