if i could see you now, i'd try to make you sad some how. but i can't, so i'll cry instead
so if you are ever trying to avoid thinking of something, DON'T look at pictures of said thing...it's probably the stupidest thing that one could do because all it's going to do is remind you of whatever it is you're trying to forget. i know, this sounds like it'd be pretty obvious but to some people who are clearly not that bright sometimes the obviousness can tend to slip their minds. ...and yes, i am talking about myself. the stupid me though, not the usually smart me. maybe i was just stupid because it's late and i'm tired but i just drank some caffeinated tea and can't get to sleep. umm...here's a poem:
i am the most... you are my... in the whole world... we could be... if only...
i didn't watch the fireworks tonight. i couldn't see them from my house, though i thought i'd be able to, and so i turned down an invite to watch them from downtown. hypothetical question here... say you have a weird sort of situation occur with somebody that leaves everything sort of feeling awkward after (for example, you say something that probably shouldn't have) quite some time has now passed...should just leave things as are (because it is up to other to let know if comfortable with relationship) or try to rekindle friendship (probably not mentioning past circumstance)?
oh man, i can't believe i haven't even mentioned this yet... likely one of my favorite books ever, at least in the top 5, is Pride and Prejudice which was made into a 5 part miniseries starring Colin Firth on the BBC network. anyways, at the movies tonight i saw a preview for a remake of P and P starring Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen. I am actually really excited for that, i don't care how much of a loser that makes me sound. Also...very excited for stabilo on friday night at the starlite room! woot
