i just watched Luther again. for anybody who has not seen it yet, i would definitely recommend it. it is a brilliant film about a man who starts a revolution against the hypocrisy of the roman church (which i'm sure anybody who knows anything about Martin Luther would have already known), but i just love it, and not just because i happen to be lutheran. I also think that Joseph Fiennes is an amazing actor anyways but he does such a good job in the movie...it's really incredible. okay, enough of my campaigning for that. i am so tired today, i think i must be getting sick or something (not good right before finals) but i'm hoping it's just a temporary thing. i've been working at my new job a lot so that's nice, i'll be making some actual money instead of sending my paycheques straight to a bill when i get it. i finally got around to framing some pictures so now i've got all these beautiful faces smiling at me from my desk so that's nice...it makes it seem more friendly when i'm sitting here doing some silly assignments and stuff. so, as i've just been reminded of some of my own pet peeves, here's one thing that really bugs me. i'm okay with infrequent emailing, that doesn't bother me because i'm just as bad at responding/writing, etc. but what really gets to me is when you offer to be someone's ear to listen and to give advice and then you take forever and a day to respond. if you're going to offer your self as service to somebody else atleast be able to back it up...frick. on a better note, the road trip plan is in full swing. heather and i spent the weekend at her parent's place planning the stops we want to take, etc. and caitlin is just as excited! it's going to be so much fun...i always miss the ocean so much until i finally get there in the summer and then i can guarantee i won't want to leave. how could i?! there is nothing more awing and calming to me than the rushing waves and cool blue of the pacific sea. ahhhhh....
