what an intense week this has been, i tell ya! calgary with laurel and her family was fabulous...we had such an amazing time and stayed up till umm...well i can't quite remember the time but it was really late. it was just like res. again except that this time she was the one doing most of the talking...and for most of you i know this is surprising that it would normally be me talking the whole time but believe it or not, it is true. anywho, that was just a really great time all around. the weekend got me to thinking though, just about my life in general and what i'm doing with it, where i'm planning to go, etc. i just felt like i was able to look at things in a little different perspective for a while and i decided a few things, etc. i think it's nice to get away once in while to refresh myself and get a new look at things.
returning to edmonton wasn't too bad either, i had an express bus so that was nice and short. and dad and jess made it here in time for a late dinner. i finally made it to the Valley Zoo and it was so fabulous...to see the elephants! *sigh* it just made my day. there weren't too many animals out but there was definitely enough to make a good trip of it. and i finally saw spiderman 2. i know i know...i'm a little late. but to be honest, both the spidey flicks have never been top priority movies for me. i mean, i always enjoy them once i see them but it seems like if given the choice i would rather pick something else. so the first night we watched Finding Neverland (my pick) and the second we saw SM2. i have to say i was impressed with it but it always seems a little short...like they're fitting too much into the time.
i have a couple of job interviews lined up for next week...mostly retail stuff so that's not going to be great but i need money and those are the easiest jobs to get. it sucks that kringles is closing out, obviously the reason i'm stuck searching for another job. BUT there does seem to be quite and abundance of NOW HIRING businesses so that's a 'plus'. well, i've got another busy day of studying and working tomorrow so i should probably go to sleep...though, taking into consideration my accidental slip of caffeinated tea tonight i might not get to sleep until much later than this.
