laurel's visit was so fun! we didn't really do much that would constitute for excitement but it was so fun doing nothing. we went down to kelowna and walked along the waterfront there for a couple of hours one day...i have never done that before. i've lived in vernon for almost 13 years and i have never walked downtown kelowna or by the lake. isn't that strange?! but i've done it now and it was fun. we found this neat store, i can't remember the name, but it's got the coolest buttons. i wanted to buy them all but i'm limiting myself these days. i just finished working at both of my jobs today so that was pretty fulfilling...absolutely nothing exciting happened at either place and i had a broom attack me and cut my finger open so that hurt...it's probably infected with money-dirt now. haha, just kidding.
it's vbs at our church this week and i'm hopefully going to get up there to help sometime. i have to check when i work and try and fit in around that.
laurel and i also went and say the Notebook. it was such a cute movie...pretty predictable since all 'chick-flicks' as laurel calls them are but it was still good. i really want to see fahrenheit 9/11 (and i don't care if i spelled that wrong). it looks very interesting...although i'm kind of REALLY sick of all the terrorist stuff...it should be good. michael moore is pretty talented...i loved Roger & Me. yup, well...supper time i guess.
