pretty much i was just getting bored of the last post but i really don't have anything too exciting to write today. i did a really awesome page in my scrapbook today and i'm really really happy about that, it's SO cool. holly got a jeep cherokee for grad. probably the second best vehicle handed out, mine being first (my baby, my jimmy), but dave and jess definitely got the raw end of the deal with their cars, i feel bad for them sometimes...it's just what happened to be available at the time though. anyways, i think hers is a 1996 (or 98) and it's teal! TEAL!!! can you believe that. it's such a bad color. but the whole package suits her really well so that's a good thing. i really want to take my truck back to edmonton next year, but insurance is SO high there that it almost doesn't seem worth it. i might check and see what my dad thinks about it but it's not looking up, that's for sure. i'm also trying to get a mastercard...that has got to be the hardest thing to do when you don't have ANY credit yet and you have no real income. i don't want to get a stupid student card or have my parent as a co-signer but it's seeming like that might be the route i'm going to be taking. it sucks. but once i get it and start developing some credit then i can apply for a different card so that's nice.
i wish that i wasn't so old already and that i was still in youth group (except at the same time i totally don't want that at all), i just really wanted to go the national youth gathering in ontario. britt's going to be there and i haven't seen her since last summer and ian's the mc so you know that's going to be hilarious (because he is such a funny bunny), but oh well, such is life. speaking of funny, i watched the premiere of "last comic standing" last night and there was this one guy, Buck Star, and he got rejected at the first place so then he went to the second town to audition and ended up at every single audition until they finally let him go on after the very last one. he didn't make it any further than that though because he's only been doing stand-up for like, 4 months or something, but it was just so funny because every time he came on stage he'd start off with, "hi, my name's buck star and welcome to the buck star show". EVERY TIME! it was so funny. anyways, i'm really tired now and i have to open tomorrow at work so i should probably try to get to bed soon.
