so, apparently i have found it best for me to update every two weeks. i dont know if this is because i just don't have anything to write about so it takes two weeks to make a substantial entry or if i just don't seem to find the time because i'm just oh so busy. haha. but, in any case...i have found time now to add an entry and i've actually got some stuff to say! crazy, i know. i got a pet hamster yesterday. she's a siberian and her name is lucy (in the sky). she is beautiful and super teensy. i'm pretty sure that we're not exactly allowed to have animals in res. so we're keeping her on the dl. *wink wink*. i've been having a pretty good semester, excepting these next few midterms i have coming up...but i've been studying hard and think that i should do alright. i've been thinking a lot about what my plans are for the summer time. it's really difficult to try and decide so early but i think that it's really necessary. i was thinking of working at camp luther for july and august but i don't think i really want to, although i know if i get accepted then i should because it would be what God wants for me. i just don't feel like it's for me this summer, so hopefully He agrees with me. otherwise, i'm probably going to end up with 10 billion parttime jobs in vernon because it is so impossible to get anything but part-time, 3 hours a week, jobs there. so, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated from anybody! i'm really pumped though because dom and i are going to get tattoos when we get home. this is also a little hush hush, but hopefully will go over well. i was pretty stoked this morning when i went to take a shower and found chocolate cake smooshed all over the floor in the bathroom and the handle for the shower broken off. needless to say, it was gordo's birthday last night and i guess things got a little crazy. you would think that living in the same town as somebody, it would be pretty likely to see them atleast once or twice a year, right? nope. that is a crazy urban myth that some wacky kid thought up one time while having the time of their life, living in dreamland. that's right, DREAM LAND i say! just living in the same town carries absolutely NO guarantees whatsoever. effort is the key, EFFORT people! it is very important to maintain relationships that each party makes a certain amount of effort, and although it is perfectly alright to exceed the level of effort exerted, it is, under no circumstances, acceptable to apply little effort. ok then, so now that i've vented my issues over this i will head down for some dinner with my good friend barb and i promise to make a bigger EFFORt (haha) at writing in here more often.
