well happy new year! i haven't written in here in forever it seems, i've been SO busy over the holidays, being back home that i haven't hardly had any chance to go on the computer at all. christmas was wonderful!!! i got to see so many people that i haven't seen in years (a.k.a. 6 months.) and it's just been really great. new years was so amazing!!!! i didn't know what i was doing for sure until that afternoon but i knew that it was going to be so fun whatever we did. so dom and i ended up going to eileen's place for a party. i had such a great time, there were so many people there that i graduated with and that dom graduated with (different schools) and i knew practically everybody there...which was totally unexpected but very cool! after the party we crashed at eileens because nobody wanted to drive home in the weather, the DDs that is, and i almost didn't have a place to sleep because first of all nick passed out across the bed that we were supposed to use...then i got up to go talk to david for a sec. and carly stole my couch...so i thought i had to take the floor but then dave called me from the other living room to tell me something completely random and then suggested that we sleep on the couches in there. so we did! yay, no floor for me! and they were the most comfortable couches EVER!!!! there were too many pillows and we decided that when we closed our eyes they attacked us but there was this sheepskin stuff that we slept atop of and it was so soft....oh, i just loved it. the only problem was the actual lack of sleep due to somebody across from me constantly waking me up because he couldn't sleep and he wanted to talk. i couldn't get mad about it though because it was really funny...plus, he was sick so i felt bad for him. i'm really surprised but i seriously had the best time! yaya woowoo!
and now i have to finish my laundry and pack all my stuff for heading back tomorrow :) . don't get me wrong, i love being home, seeing my family and friends...but i just feel like being back in edmonton. i miss my floor! anyways, kevin just called and we're going for coffee so i'm going to have to talk about the rest of my holiday time later.
