sorry to those of you who sometimes expect to see something that actually "requires thought" posted on here, for this entry but at the present i am so overtired and ill that there is nothing more than surface-thoughts flowing through my mind. i have been to and done many things since my last entries. after creston i went to dryden, On. and did two vbs'. one in dryden with the other summer team and one on eagle lake indian reserve. that was an amazing time, i was so impressed by the knowledge that those kids had of Jesus that i was brought to tears many times. it was awesome to see leah, MI, ron, and kristen again but seemed so shortlived. we then backtracked a bit and went to middle lake, sask. that was fun. the mother's name was michell and one of the daughter's was named morgan. it caused for much confusion but a good time also. we have actually met 5 morgan's in our travels, quite shocking. off to edmonton after that for a most pleasant week. early on we had a visit from corey, that was awesome! and then we heard that the new full-time team was in spruce grove and so we planned a meeting with them. we had them come to e-town and went for dinner and saw pirates of the caribbean. that is my favorite movie ever. it was so well done...i am already partial to disney films anyways and johnny depp is such an incredible talent...awww...it was just so good. corey came to the movie as well. i really enjoyed getting to see jennifer and scott and lisa and crystal...they are all such amazing friends. i look forward, so much, to spending more time with them in edmonton in the fall. we, unfortunately, narrowly missed a visit from joel as he called on friday while we had left on thursday night as we needed 58 hours to get to simcoe, On. it has been beautiful here. the province is so amazing and reminds me so much of home. the old, colonial style homes are so many and so beautiful...and the lakes are so huge that not knowing, could be mistaken for the ocean which is lucky. i am, however, glad to be heading home soon. i fly out of hamilton on saturday afternoon. i am not looking forward to that so much because i dont particularly prefer to fly but it is much preferred over 3 days of travel on greyhound.
i have just completed to novel, Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen. it was so wonderful. i was at first cautious of it because i thought it would perhaps be boring or confusing but finally giving in I found that once started i was unable to put it down without hesitation. i would recommend it to anybody, but urge to keep in mind that it is of a romantic nature and therefore those who are partial to sci. fi., adventure, and other sorts are likely not to enjoy it so much. i am anxious to read others by jane austen and have recently received Sense and Sensibility from michelle.
so, i just read over what i've written and have noticed that i sound like a big dork. after reading the old style books for the past couple weeks i'm starting to think like that, i guess. oh well. i cant wait to get home and go scootering. YAY!
